New leadership for EmpowHer Leadership Council

By April 18, 2012Uncategorized

Brandie Cobb will be taking the reins as Chair of the EmpowHer Leadership Council. Heather Sheldon, former Chair will be moving to the 2013 Fund Development Committee. We thank Heather for her leadership and for serving as the inaugural chair of the council.

The EmpowHer Leadership Council is a dynamic group of upwardly mobile professionals who commit themselves to empowering girls and women through education and entrepreneurship by volunteering their time and resources to organize annual fundraising events, volunteer recruitment and activities that will benefit EmpowHer Institute and the girls and women it serves in Southern California.

Brandie will be continuing the work of the Council and looking for other interested candidates. EmpowHer Institute is constantly striving to increase its quality volunteer base. EmpowHer Leadership Council Members must be community minded, have an interest and desire to be involved, and, ideally, add value to the charitable initiatives. Members will be encouraged to participate on event committees and to bring an energetic perspective to the overarching issues that EmpowHer Institute must solve.
