Through our E-Summer programs we expose EmpowHer girls to careers and opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through paid internships with our corporate partners for ages 16-18, and our Social Justice STEAM camp for middle school for ages 12-15. These opportunities not only show girls what’s possible, but it also gives them hands-on career and educational experiences they will carry for a lifetime.
EMPOWHER SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (Ages 16-18)
Exposure to different career fields, especially those where women of color are underrepresented, is critical to expanding our girls’ vision of what’s possible. Paid internships offer a unique opportunity for girls to learn about careers through observation and hands-on experience, develop soft and hard skills, and gain real-world work experience. We partner with companies to provide four-week, paid internship opportunities for our EmpowHer Leaders Academy girls.
EMPOWHER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM BENEFITS
- Job readiness and on-the-job training
- Internship placement and support
- Four week paid internship
- Mentorship
Please note: Only girls who participate in the EmpowHer Leaders Academy are eligible for the EmpowHer Internship Program. If you are interested in joining the EmpowHer Leaders Academy, please click below to apply.
