EmpowHer supports BIPOC girls, ages 11-18, who live in marginalized communities in L.A. County to help them develop the necessary skills to boldly break ceilings, embrace the power of their voices, engage in social justice, and end generational cycles of poverty.
The overwhelming majority of our girls — 96 percent— live in socioeconomically challenged households. That’s why we partner with Title 1 schools to deliver our programs to girls who need it most.
